Photos from May 26, 2012 (Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend - the "official" unofficial start of summer, over which Yellowstone Park received significant fresh snowfall. Photos in this gallery include a nursery herd of bison bedded down in fresh snow, dancing eared grebes, a mallard hen and her brood, and some snowy landscapes.

This gallery also include photo documentation of the behavior of some unethical wildlife photographers by the names of Stan Tekiela and Nathan Lovas who, contrary to the regulations of Yellowstone National Park, ethics, and consideration of other visitors, walked up on and placed a remote-controlled camera upon the mound of a badger den.
