This mama grizzly bear and her trio of first year cubs (COY's) have been fairly regularly found along Obsidian Creek in Yellowstone National Park through May and June of 2013. On the evening of my arrival for my June 2013 camping trip to Yellowstone, they greeted me as my first sight of the trip. On that evening, they could be viewed from the Grizzly Lake Trailhead.

What a welcome!

It was almost dark and they were really too far away for my lens, but I couldn't resist taking a few fotos of this fun family anyway.
