"Elegant mariposa lily" is a prettier name that "hairy cat's ear," don't you think?
My first finding of these flowers in Western Montana was last week. They are small and have fairly short stems so if one were driving along they'd be easy to miss. I had stopped the car to take photos of beargrass flowers when I saw these at my feet.
