It's been a few years since I last enjoyed the pleasure and privilege of attending the Annual Arlee Celebration (the 116th) PowWow as a spectator/visitor.
I enjoy everything about the PowWow — the drums, the singing, the dancing, the regalia, the exquisite craftsmanship of the outfits, the ceremony, the culture, the tradition...
This year, I found the drum groups and their singing to be particularly excellent and many of the dancers likewise. I visited on July 5 this year and watched the Grand Entry and then the toddlers through the teenagers in their competitive dances.
