Long-time contacts know that the Mission Mountains are one of my most often photographed subjects. Here is yet another from the Mission Mountains. Right now they have a fresh cloak of new snow on their shoulders. This photo was taken from the Red Sleep Mountain Drive at the National Bison Range. I always enjoy how the farm fields in the valley seem to make a patchwork quilt.

I spent many happy summers in St. Ignatius - the town you can see down in the valley
